I'm going to talk about one of my photographic projects, which LiveMag! has published two pieces from in Issue # 17.
TOP: The one on the back cover, "Circus Horse," is straight Surreal Photo; analog 35mm full frame, from edition of 6 vintage silver gelatin prints
, 1986.
BOTTOM: The one on page 37, "Surreal to Conceptual Compositization Indiana" is an early photo-collage on vellum suite of six from this project, and includes elements of straight photography with images from my body, my possessions, and relevant stills from my videos, 2006. All my work is an investigation into the soul and psyche of identity, and how the production of art reveals the subconscious, the driving force.

Westbeth Arts Complex is a designated New York City landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Westbeth Artists Housing is the oldest and largest artists' community in the world. It is also one of the first and largest examples of adaptive reuse in the United States, converting a former industrial complex into affordable residential and studio space for artists. This year, the Bethune to Washington Street corridor has been the installation space for images by invitation of notable residents in each discipline. This October, I'm so pleased to be part of this show!! None of us even know yet who the others are. Both are 19" x `13" vertical 35mm black and white film negative digitally scanned and adjusted by Rosenthal, and printed by Westbeth (method TBA)
ARTIST'S STATEMENT (since 1982 for the 35mm Surreal Photographs project) "I gave my subconscious a camera, and promised not to interfere."
